Born Pretty Store Review & The Most Awesome Nail Polish Ever

I was recently contacted by Daisy from the Born Pretty Store and asked if I'd be willing to review their product.

I have wanted a glow in the dark nail polish for the longest time and now when I finally got it, I felt as if Christmas had arrived early.

I absolutely love this polish -- it glows in the dark! What more is needed?!

I used it on this mani.

In the picture I am wearing three coats of the polish.

In order to achieve the full glow in the dark effect the polish needs previous exposure under the light.

What I really liked about it (besides the glowing effect) was that it dried really fast. I was afraid since I used 3 coats that it will take ages to dry, but no, just like with a regular polish, I gave it like 5-7 minutes of drying time before putting on top coat.

Overall I give two (glowing) thumbs up to this polish. It can make any mani look awesome.

I was also provided a code for my readers, so if you use the code BKL91 you will get 10% off from your order in the Born Pretty store. :)

Into the Blue

I'm just as obsessed with blue nail polishes as I have always been.
Even with my lack of tools I managed to slap together two blues and get this awesome result.

Polishes used - H&M Dark blue; KIKO Mint Milk.

The last three pictures were taken on the third (or even fourth) day and showing some tip wear, but it held up pretty well.

French Mani... But Not Really

Living in France, there had to come a time where I have the Eiffel tower on my nails.
Though this time I didn't draw the tower myself, it's the talented work of my roommate.
All the natural light pictures were taken a day after I did the mani and I had already managed to chip a finger.
I used Lancome Rose Plumeti, YSL French tip pen and a black sharpie.

Green & Pink

Using the tissue technique again.

For the base I used one coat of H&M Hunt Me Down. Then I covered it with Lancome 300M Rose Plumeti and used the tissue technique.
It's not the best color combo, I admit, but it still looks pretty okay.

Meet Alexis

Hi everyone - meet Alexis, beautiful glittery nail polish that looks amazing, especially in the sunlight.

This is from Gina Tricot and it's called Alexis

Isn't it just gorgeous?!
Two coats are needed for perfect coverage and the drying time isn't that great, but it looks soooo nice.

Rose Plumeti

Before leaving to France one of my best friends gave me a "survival" gift, which of course included nail polishes. This is one of them.
Lancome - 300M Rose Plumeti
This is three coats.

It's described as soft baby pink and it has fine silver shimmer in it.

It's such a pretty color, I'm totally in love.
