Spring Florals

Polishes used:
Flomar 234 (yellow/goldish base)
Flomar 381 (light pink for flowers)
Flomar 382 (darker pink for flowers)
Wild & Mild Greenpeace (flower leaves)

This is one of my favorite manis that I've done lately.
It's just screams spring!

I can't wait till I can put away my winter coats and boots and start wearing shoes and light jackets again.

One thing is sure - you're gonna see more florals in my nails this spring and summer. :)

Monster's Mouth

Somebody on Tumblr recommended this name and it seemed perfect.

For the base I used two coats of black and for the silver is the same old tacky silver that I used on my New Year's Eve Mani. And again I used a toothpick to pull the color into the middle of the nail.

For the gradient I used 3 different shades of pink:
Golden Rose 57
Golden Rose  51
Sinful Colors Pink Forever
The butterflies are stamped on.

I'm starting to wear more lighter colors now that spring's (almost) here. My favorites have been pinks, so that's why I did pink gradient.
Overall I really loved this mani, it's so nice and seasonal. :)

Saturday Morning Comics

Base - one coat of H&M Beige

Garfield is my favorite comics in the newspaper so it was logical to use him.

This is done just like regular newspaper nails using newspaper cut-outs, cotton balls and vodka to transfer the picture on my nail.

I really adored this Garfield nails and I wore it 5 days straight (which to me is a long time to wear the same nail design).

I hope you like it as much as me. :)
Do you have any suggestions what else should I do using the newspaper-nails method?

Sparkle Sparkle

Base - two coats of Wild and Crazy Egyptian Ruby
Top - one coat of E.l.f Golden Goddess

I adore this combo - the gold and red match so well and of course, glitter makes everything better. :)

This was another quick post, but I've got something pretty cool (in my opinion) in line for Saturday.

Purple & Gold

Short, but polished.
Base - two coats of Wild and Crazy Chunky Chow.
Flash brings out the blue shimmer, but in the daylight it's more like the first picture.
A blurry picture, to see how nice the holo looks.
On the tips I used some random polish called Holografic Shine in the shade Juicy Bronze and I put it on with a fan brush.

St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day! :)

I really had the luck of the Irish with this mani (see what I did there? :D). I kept hitting my hand against everything and denting the mani. In the end I was so frustrated that I just did the little shamrocks and left everything else alone.

I used two coats of Wild & Mild Greenpeace as a base. I really love this color, it's nice green with a little bit of shimmer, just the kind of shade I was missing.

Since this mani is quite boring, I thought I'll show you these two pictures I've recently painted. (And that I'm pretty proud of.)
Hope you're all having a great weekend!

First Butterfly of the Spring

Base - two coats of Wild and Crazy  Baffin Bay
Details with black and white acrylic paint.

How cute is this design?
I really liked this mani and it was easy to do.

On a similar note - do you have any ideas what other designs I should try out? :)

Spring's Coming

I used Sally Hansen Insta Dri Fast Drying Nail Color in Speedy Sunburst as a base and white polish for the flowers. Then I painted the flowers in with Wild and Crazy Ticklish Toes and added some holographic glitter.

Spring's almost here, yay!
I'll be definitely doing more floral prints in the future, this is just the beginning! :D
