Purple Patch

I broke three of my nails, to the flesh, and they hurt. Different length of nails are one of my pet peeves, so I had to file down all the others.

A local store is closing down here, so all their make up was -70%. I scored three Wild and Crazy nail polishes with 2,70 €, so less than 1 € per polish – great deal or what?

This is shade w260 Chunky Chow, a bright purple.

 In daylight, without direct sun
With flash, and once again the evil air bubbles attack
In direct sunlight

 Without the stickers
 The bottle in natural daylight
 And in direct sunlight.

You can see how the color changes under a certain light. The color dries pretty fast, and it has some blue micro glitter in it.(you can see it really well on the pictures taken with flash)

I really like Wild and Crazy polishes, because they have wide range of colors, they’re pretty cheap and they’re surprising long lasting.

Overall - I absolutely love this polish. It's such a gorgeous and bright color and I definitely hit a purple patch with this color.
(See what I did there? :D)

Teal & Gold

 With matte top coat
 Without top coat

I absolutely love teal & gold together.
This design is, once again, one of the most simple ways to switch up a regular nail polish.
Simple & takes only 5 minutes & looks great.
This time I like the matted out version better.

Also, I just started my first year at the university and it's been super busy time for me. I'm assuming the next 2-3 weeks will be as crazy/confusing as the first one.
Although I love posting 3 times a week, I'm afraid I'm not able to blog as much as before... So that's just a little heads up, if anyone's interested.

French Tip & Flowers

I rarely do french tips, but when I did them this time, they looked to dull, so I decided to do the flowers too.

It came out pretty good, but the top coat ruined everything. I guess the polish wasn’t dry yet so the top coat smudged it all.

Despite the smudging, I like the mani. It’s really simple and girly. :)

Shiny Shimmering Splendid

This is H&M Gray (although it looks more like brown or greige) layered with Evelin 488, a pink and sparkly polish.

It was hard to capture how it looks in real life, so that's why so many pictures.

At first I wanted to use only the pink, but when I put it on, it was so sheer, so I layered it and added the little bows.
I really like how it came out, so sparkly and girly.

Surprisingly I forgot to use top coat this time, but it holds up pretty well.

Gold & Co

I don't even know how to name this mani.

Again, it's really simple to do - it's just gold sponged on brown, sponged on peach.

On another note, I had troubles with my previous e-mail, so I made a new one.

Feel free to send me mails there about pretty much everything. :)

Purple Holo

Two days ago I purchased my first holographic polish... And I’m absolutely obsessed with it. It's gorgeous!

This is all 2 coats.

In sunlight

In shade

Under a lamp

With flash

The bottle has number 411 and Lilac Holograph written, without any brand logos or anything. In the sticker on the brush it says it's from a brand Evelin

It reminds me of Milani 3D Holographic polish Purple.

It was only 1.59 € in our local supermarket.

I almost didn’t see it, I went to pay for my stuff and it was near to the cash register.
Really sweet deal, I must add – I totally love this polish.

Dot Dot Dot

I love polka-dot pattern, it's so easy to do and it looks nice.
I only used the dotter.

Under the Sea

I used light blue for base and sponged on darker blue for more depth. Fishes are stamped on, I used white, gold and red for them and free-handed the seaweed.

This is another design inspired my Egypt trip. We took an entire day to go scuba diving and it was absolutely amazing!

I had never done it before so the first time when we went underwater I started to panic and I felt like I couldn't breathe. We came back up and the diving instructor calmed me down and we dived again.

The underwater was just stunning! Everything was so colorful and bright and lively. All the exotic fishes were so beautiful. I even saw a stingray, it was yellow with electric blue dots. (At that point all my sentences ended with exclamation points, because every time I talk about it, I get so excited)

Sadly, I don't have pictures taken underwater.

Scuba diving is one of the most exciting and fun things I've done so far, so if you have the chance to do it, the I definitely recommend you to try it out!

Camels

This design has been on my mind for a long time, and although I think it came out pretty well, I’m sure I’ll do another camel-design in the near future.

Camels always remind me Egypt. I went there in December 2008. It was one of the most interesting trips. Their history is amazing!

I've wanted to visit Egypt since I was like 6. Although I didn't get to see the pyramids, I saw the Karnak Temple Complex and the Valley of the Kings and I also went scuba diving. It was beyond great.

Here are two of my pictures that inspired me to do the nails.

I should actually do a nail art series about where I've been and what I did/saw there... That would be so cool, or what?!

Blue & Silver

It turned out pretty nicely if you don’t count the evil bubbles.

I like using rhinestones on my manicures, but I hate that they get stuck to my hair. It doesn’t matter how much topcoat I’ll put over them – they still get stuck when I wash my hair.

 Any help or tips?
