New Year's Eve Mani

New Year's Eve came quickly this year!
And this is the mani I came up with.
This is how the flowers look without the holo glitter.
The usual base - two coats of black polish, but for the flowers I used tacky & stickly nail art polish and toothpick
The key of doing the flowers is the tackiness - with fresh polish it wouldn't look like a flower. Also the base color has to be totally dry, otherwise the toothpick will mess everything up.
For the middle part I used holographic glitter.

This is perfect NYE mani for me, since I don't know yet what I'm going to wear, but black & silver will match with everything.

Happy New Year everyone!
May the 2012 be the best one so far.

Random Reds

Another quick mani.

As a base I used one coat of Manhattan Lotus Effect nail polish #153, which is pearly nude.
Then I did some wave-thingies/brush strokes with Wild and Crazy Egyptian Red, then I let it dry and did some waves with Wild and Crazy Poncia and finished it off with brigter red Wild and Crazy Angelica.

I'm kinda disappointed how the pictures came out. In real life it looked prettier.

It was such a quick mani, I used only one brush and I really liked the outcome.
I'll definitely do similar thing with other colors, in the future.

Beige Blast

I hope you all had lovely holidays, I know I did!
I received 3 Sally Hansen polishes for Christmas, and this is the first one - Beige Blast.
This is only 2 coats.

I used two coats of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Fast Dry Nail Color shade 03 Beige Blast. I really like this color and it really did dry super quick. When I was finished with one hand, I could touch the first nail I did without smudging it. First coat was little streaky, but second gave a nice smooth coverage.

For my thumb and ring finger I used these cameo nail stickers that I totally forgot I had. And for the rest of the fingers I put a coat of Wild and Crazy Ticklish Toes over it.

I like the end result - it's modest, but not boring.

Christmas Mani

As a base I used one coat of Marks & Spencer gold nail polish. It's really beautiful and sparkling gold.
For the holly leaves I used green acrylic paint and for berries I used Orly Crawford's Wine.
On both of the thumbs I put red and green rhinestones.

Really simple and nice mani for Christmas. :)

Easiest Way to Give Back

Since it's holidays soon (and for some, it has already started), I'd like to draw some attention to these two sites that I visit daily - Care2 and The Animal Rescue Site.

Last year I already blogged about this pages, but since I had 0 followers, I doubt that anyone ever read those.
But nevertheless, these two charity sites are probably the easiest way to do some good, whether it's to animals, nature or other people.

Both of the sites have this "click-a-day" system, where you just have to click on a button and the sponsors of the site donate to the selected cause. It's totally free and 100% of the donations go towards helping the cause. You can click every day and all of the causes.

It's super easy and it doesn't take even a minute.
There are many other things that you can do on both of the pages, but you can see all that yourself.

On Care2 pages you can click to help:

And on the Animal Rescue Site you can help to:

All links are hyperlinks, so please click.

I've been doing it for more than a year and this is really the easiest and fastest way to help out the society and Earth overall.

If you know any other sites like these two, please share them in the comment section. And feel free to share these two with others. :)

Helping others is so easy and sometimes it's only one click away.
