Crawford's Wine

I absolutely adore this red.
Doesn't it look amazing?!
It's Orly Crawford's Wine.
Two coats gives a perfect coverage and it doesn't take long to dry.
What's not to love?
And whit the stamping and nail stones.
The YSL one is really good for stamping, so every time you see me using gold, then it's this polish.

Guess the Band!?

With flash
Under a lamp

Did you guess it right?
Of course it's Maroon 5.

I wanted to do something really simple, but after I painted my nails, I looked at them and thought "oo, pretty maroon"... I just had to put the little fives. :P

I used Nivea Beauté Calcium Power Shock Resistant #39 Mystic Merlot and for the fives gold YSL polish.

And a fun picture from the next morning.
I thought my nails were dry when I went to bed, but obviously I was wrong.
I hate when it happens!

And how can I not end the post with a Maroon 5 song.
Harder to Breathe from the album Songs About Jane (2002)

Custom Shoes

Arts and crafts time!
I was in a store and found these boring plain tennis shoes. I knew I had to buy them and decorate them myself. At first I had no idea what to draw, but then I thought - cartoons
And yes, I know, Darth Vader isn't a cartoon character, but I wanted something from the Star Wars, so he was an obvious choice.
The first character I did was Stewie, Peter was the sixth one.
First I drew the character on the paper, cut it out and draw it on the shoe with a regular pencil. Then I re-did all the lines with black textile marker.
The most difficult thing was Peter's hair and eyes. They just didn't turn out the way I wanted.
I once painted Homer on a t-shirt, so doing him was probably the easiest.
And of course Daria and Jane.
I don't have any pictures of Darth Vader, since I freehanded him.
Stewie and Peter Griffin ("Family Guy")
Homer and Bart Simpson ("The Simpsons")
Daria Morgendorffer and Jane Lane ("Daria")
Darth Vader (The Star Wars Trilogy)
I'm super happy with the result.
They have on everything I love and they're one of a kind. :)

Shimmering Light Pink

For this mani I used two coats of white nail polish and two coats of Evelin 488 (the same I used here). It's a gorgeous sheer light pink with shimmer in it.

It looked nice, but plain so I added the nail stickers.

 Again, in daylight.
I wanted to take pictures in sunlight, but in here, well.. Summer's obviously over.

I'm really pleased with this combo. It's so nice and girly, I think I will try it again sometimes. :)

Random Pattern

I saw my friend doodling similar pattern and I thought "Oh, this would look so cool  on my nails."

Again I used black and red acrylic color for the pattern. The base is Nivea Beauté Turbo Colour in 45 sec #95 Turbo Pastel.
And everything's topped off with a matte top coat.

I remove the paint with a regular nail polish remover, it comes off pretty well, just like a regular nail polish.

I'm a huge fan on superheroes so this mani is been on my mind for ages.

Now that I bought some acrylic colors I decided to try it out.

It's my first time using acrylic colors on my nails, so everything's bit rough around the edges.
My right hand turned out pretty awful, so try to look past that.
Thumb - Superman
Index - Joker
Middle - Batman
Ring finger - Spiderman
Pinky - Green Lantern

In regular conditions, the acrylic paint dries really quick, but I wanted to speed things up even more, so I used matte top coat (BeYu), which dries everything super fast.

It's not perfect, but I still love how it looks. :)

Update post

This isn't a regular nail art post just an update from my last mani - Dusty Purple.

I got really bored and decided to add the red crackle polish on top. It came out... Weird.
I'm not sure if I like it, but I also don't hate it.
And from the far it looks like I have splatters of blood on my nails. :P

Also, I found that I have pictures of Golden Rose polish #80, which is this nice warm brown.
These pictures are taken without the top coat, but my nails still look super shiny, I like it.
It only needs two coats and gives full coverage.

Also, a little sneak peak of the Saturday's mani.
