Coral is definitely one of my favorite colors right now.

I used two coats of Coral from H&M Spring Nails collection, sponged some gold on the tips and then matted everything out.

This was the first time I noticed how amazingly fast the BeYu Mat Top Coat works. Less than 30 minutes, and my nails were totally dry.

I just love the color, especially in the sunlight. I bet it would look even better on someone who's tanned. :)

Her First Mani

Every time after I do my nails and show them to my sister, she compares them to the penguin ones I did way back. Those were her absolute favorites.

I promised that for my graduation I'll do her nails too. She specifically asked for penguins and when she saw the panda stickers, she wanted  those too.

Of course, like any other thee-year old, she couldn't stand still, so the penguins were a little smudged later.

She picked out the light pink herself.
After the middle finger, she got enough of sitting still so we didn't do the pinky & the ring finger.

She was really happy after I finished and spent the whole day showing everyone her new nails.

Tape it up!

This is my first tape mani

After I did my first nail I learned that I have to make the tape less sticky before putting it on, so it wouldn't tear up the nail polish.

And that I should cut up all the tape strips before I start applying them, not while putting them on.

But leaving those two things aside, it came out pretty good for a first time, or what? :D

I  took part of a nail art competition "Good Enough To Eat".
There are 48 creative & delicious entries.

This is my design - #36

All entries had to be food related. So my design is inspired by one of my favorites, Italian kitchen - pizza, spaghetti & meatballs and of course, the delicious gelato.
You should all definitely have a look at all the other entries too.

There are so many awesome and creative nail designs you can check out and then vote for your favorite!

And welcome all the new followers that have found my  blog through this competition. :)

I did these nails for my high school graduation.
I wore a white dress, red shoes and gold jewelry so I though the best nail color would be red with gold details.

I used unknown brand's image plate M28.

Here are few pictures from the day

My hairdresser curled my hair with a straightener and the did a little braid, I really liked it. :)

Sparkling Blue

This is probably the easiest way to switch up a regular nail polish - just put a sparkly coat over it.

I used Wet N Wild  Denim Chrome, which is one of my favorite polishes, and then put Wild and Crazy Ticklish Toes over it.
I just loved the result, it was simple, but still eye-catching.

Sorry for such a short, post. I've been really busy lately and this week has been hectic. Next week will be better. :)

Flowery Goodness

I just can't seem to get over florals!

It's become one of my favorite patterns. It's quite easy to do and it looks so girly & pretty.

The whole painting-process took me about 30 minutes.

I used the purples from the H&M Spring Nails collection.

Pink & Gold

I guess summer's getting to me - again a pink design.

I used a pink nail polish with a little shimmer and then some craft glitter.

The glitter is easy to use, just take it on a brush and tap it over the nail and try not to spill (which I have done. My desk was covered in glitter).

I really like the end result, it looked so good in the sunlight. Pin It Now!

I recently re-watched the movie The Italian Job.
Every time I see the movie, I wanna get a Mini Cooper.

So this manicure is obviously inspired by Mini Coopers.
I used blue, red, white and black for the base and then did the stripes. Pretty easy and I like it.

Now I really wanna get a Mini...

Again a very summery manicure.

I used pink polish, which had some shimmer in it. Then I stamped on the butterflies (sorry, I don't know the plate number). Then put a coat of clear sparkling polish over it, put the crystals and matted everything.

I'm so happy that summer's finally here. I love it - it's warm outside, sun's out and sunglasses is a must!

What's your favorite thing about summer?

Cracked Red

For base I used two coats of gold sparkling polish and then put a coat of red Depend Cracked Effect Polish over it.

I really like how it turned out and red and gold look great together. I'm really starting to like crackle polishes.

The only negative thing about the cracked polish is that when I remove it my cuticles and the skin around nails turn the same color.

When I used blue polish (blog post about it here) my fingers literally turned blue/teal. And now, when I used red, my fingers turned pink. It comes off when you go over it with a remover, but it's weird since any other polish doesn't do it.

Are you into crackle polishes?
